Ali Campbells new album 'Running Free' the first release on Crumbs-The label enters the official UK chart at No.9. The album features guest artists Katie Meluar, Mick Hucknall ( Simply Red ), Lemar, Smokey Robinson, Beverley Knight, Bitty Mclean, Robin Campbell ( UB40 ), Aston 'family man' Barrett and Don Yute. It's produced by the legendary Sly & Robbie and is an album celebrating Ali's remarkable success over 25 years in the music business.

Ali Campbell Biography
Ali Campbell has one of the UK's most distinctive and recognisable voices.
As lead singer with the world-renowned group UB40, Ali Campbell has sold over 50 million records worldwide, toured across the globe, notched up four number No. 1 world-wide singles, over 40 Top 40 UK singles, released 18 studio albums and received an Ivor Novello Award for International Achievement.
A whole generation has grown up listening to Ali's infectious vocals on classics like 'One in Ten' 'Red Red Wine', 'Don't Break My Heart' and 'Can't Help Falling In Love'. Ali has stayed true to his love of reggae and its ongoing capacity for innovation. The music that first inspired him has never lost its edge or vitality, and sharing this belief, there are still eight original band members of UB40 performing today.
Ali has started on a new album with Sly Dunbar and Robbie Shakespeare, which is due for release in September 2007.


Sly and Robbie Biography
Drummer Sly Dunbar and bassist Robbie Shakespeare are not only the most renowned rythmn section / producers in reggae; they are among the most celebrated groovemeisters in all of pop music.
The Kingston pair started playing together in the mid 1970's when reggae was really hitting it's stride and have graced countless recordings and albums ranging from Lee "Scratch" Perry to Peter Tosh.
After their fame spread to the UK and US in the 80's they were recruited by Bob Dylan, Grace Jones and Gwen Stefani, amongst others too numerous to mention.
They have won major international awards and plaudits, over the years and once again this year was nominated as best producers at the 2007 Grammy awards in L.A.
Quite simply they are one of the best production teams in the world today.

Ray Williams
Ray has been a prominent figure in the international music and film industry for many years as press agent, A&R head, artist manager, film music producer and publisher.
During the 1960's he worked with Cathy McGowan who presented 'Ready Steady Go', he was press agent for a number of major artists including Sonny & Cher, Cream and Brian Epstein's Saville Theatre, he moved on from there to head up the A&R department for Liberty records where he signed upcoming artists that went onto achieve major success including Jeff Lynne ( E.L.O & The Idle Race ), The Bonzo Dog Do Dah band and Mike Batt amongst others.
In 1967 he discovered Elton John and introduced him to Bernie Taupin, thereby setting in motion one of the most successful song writing partnerships of the modern era.
Ray managed Elton and was involved in his first five albums, he also managed Stealers Wheel ( Gerry Rafferty ) and The Blues Band.
Between 1984 until 2004 Ray became one of Europe's leading film music producers and been credited on over 70 films and television series. His credits include Bernado Bertolucci's 'The Last Emperor' which collected the Academy award for best score, Golden globe award, the Grammy award and L.A. critic's award and 'The Sheltering sky' which also won the a Golden globe award and L.A. critic's award for best score.
In 1996 Ray produced the soundtrack for 'Breaking the waves' ( Directed by Lars Von Trier and Grand prix winner at the Canne film festival. ) 2002 produced the soundtrack for 'Saving Grace' at Robert Redford's' Sundance Festival. He is a director and shareholder in Crumbs productions Ltd. and is executive producer for the Ali Campbell project.
Michael Campbell-Bowling
Michael Campbell-Bowling has spent over 35 years in the Financial Services industry as a financial and investment advisor to private clients. In addition to his ongoing consultancy work, he has at various times highlighted and promoted various high profile projects and seen them through to completion. He arranged the original finance for the staging of many London musical productions including Evita, Me & My Girl, Cats, Les Miserable etc. For these projects, he has worked closely with Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tim Rice and Cameron Mackintosh.
More recently, Michael started and organised the restoration and resurrection of No.20 Portman Square, the last remaining unmolested Robert Adam building in London and created the very well known private members club, Home House. The club has become a favourite of many celebrities on both sides of the Atlantic.
Michael started the ball rolling with the Ali Campbell Album Project, by bringing together Ray Williams, Kim Revie and Goetz Kiso and is helping to steer the project through to completion. He is a director and a shareholder in Crumbs Productions Ltd.
Goetz Kiso
In the early 70's Goetz was the business affairs director for the Chappell's Intersong group and helped build a truly major international company and was rewarded with the managing directorship of Chappell Music GMBH based in Hamburg.
Following the amalgamation of Chappell's and Warner music he was appointed President of Warner-Chappell Europe publishing division.
At he end of the 80's saw Goetz become the managing director of Polydor Records GMBH where he remained for ten years and was Polydor groups longest serving M.D. He signed Andre Bocelli and Andre Rieu and left the company with the number one, two and three albums in the charts!
In 1998 Goetz set up a successful law firm Kiso-Siefert which represents many artists, film and television producers, publishers and major entertainment executives. Goetz is a shareholder and legal director responsible for all legal matters and international negotiation, licensing and supervising all royalty accounting via third party agreements.
John Woollcombe- Remedia
John is Crumbs business affairs consultant and originates all the artist, producer, U.K. distribution agreements. Ray and John have worked together successfully for over 14 years in all aspects of the media industry.
Kim Revie - RSM Management
Kim began her career in the music industry 20 years ago, and gained a wealth of experience both within record companies and in studios as she began her career working in a recording studio and then from 1985 for the next ten years she worked for various major record labels, such as RCA. RAK, A&M and EMI in many different areas of the business, such as marketing sales, international and promotion.
In 1995, Kim set up her own management company and has been managing artists successfully for the last 12 years.
She has managed, Lynden David Hall, Jamelia, Finley Quaye and Ali Campbell, amongst others.
In 1999 and again in 2001 Kim spent a year managing UK artists in LA and New York for Capitol Records and Def Jam records and gained valuable experience of marketing a UK artist in North America during this period.
To date she has achieved 2 silver albums, 3 gold albums and 2 platinum albums, for her management work on the artists and albums she has been involved with.
She has worked with all the major record labels in the UK and every major label overseas, and has organized and run major marketing campaigns and 'live' tours for many artists worldwide .
Kim has managed Ali Campbell for five years and is consultant to 'Crumbs' to oversee all the label activity.
